Hartpury Gaynor's Dancing Horses

The sell out audience saw Working Equitation, Grand Prix Dressage, Classical Dressage, RORs, Lusitano's. What a night. The videos will give you a good idea of what you will see at Hartpury.   on April 11th.

The Kelsall demo was a huge success, with a sell out audience.

Louise developed a love of horses from a young age, thanks to her mother. Her first pony was a black Shetland called Peppermint, and she has since competed in British Eventing, British Riding Club Championships. and British Dressage (she competed at the winter Championships with her beloved horse Que, who she sadly lost when he was 35 and still sound!). Throughout her life she has been taught in the classical style of horsemanship from the likes of Captain Large (cavalry), Joan Marsh of West End Farm, Mary-Ann Horne, Jan Carter, and Pat Manning who introduced her to dressage. Pat also introduced Louise to Gaynor, back in the early 1980s, and Gaynor and Louise have remained friends ever since.
Louise is currently part of the GDH Support Crew whilst studying her Social Work degree, but hopes to be back enjoying dressage as a rider again soon.

Do you want tailor made music that no one else has, music that fits your horse and transitions exactly. As the inventor of Dressage to Music as a competitive sport with Jennie Loriston-Clarke in 1980, Gaynor creates the music for riders to give joy and pleasure to the riders and the Demonstrations have always been in aid of charities, so over the years is proud do have donated to so many. Gaynor does not make any financial gain out of either creating the music or performing, as the sport she invented, it is something she feels should be created for beauty. 

As a multi-instrumentalist,  you can be really involved with your music, even choosing the instruments you would like your music to be played on. 

The costs she incurs in creating the music for everyone, cost of travel to venues, hire of venues are recouped from riders, but are nonprofit making, and could be considered her hobby. Gaynor as the inventor of the sport continues to enjoy creating the music, and gets immense pride from the performances of the riders using her music, whether they win or not.
