Hartpury Gaynor's Dancing Horses

The sell out audience saw Working Equitation, Grand Prix Dressage, Classical Dressage, RORs, Lusitano's. What a night. The videos will give you a good idea of what you will see at Hartpury.   on April 11th.

The Kelsall demo was a huge success, with a sell out audience.

Janine has owned Shootingsta (Harry) for 7 years. She collected him from Bryan Smart Racing: he raced on the flat 19 times and won and was placed 10 tines, winning £15k. Janine is a human physiotherapist and has worked tirelessly with Harry's injuries and imbalances. As a result, Harry has proven himself in the show ring and has now taken up dressage, being placed at the last five ROR championships up to Novice level. He is a very cheeky chap with way too much personality for one owner: he loves a crowd and literally turns and grins at the camera!
Janine has a history as a sportswoman - in her younger years she ran for Team GB in the 1500m, and in her 30s represented GB at the World Jet Ski Championships. She has also travelled round the world with the GB Athletics team as a physiotherapist for over 10 years. She is delighted that she's been asked to ride on this tour.

Do you want tailor made music that no one else has, music that fits your horse and transitions exactly. Do you want music composed for you, do you want music no one else can source, do you want to impress the judges? Do you want your music to win? As the inventor of Dressage to Music as a competitive sport with Jennie Loriston-Clarke in 1980, Gaynor creates the music for riders to give joy and pleasure to the riders and the Demonstrations have always been in aid of charities, so over the years is proud do have donated to so many. Gaynor does not make any financial gain out of either creating the music or performing, as the sport she invented, it is something she feels should be created for beauty. 

As a multi-instrumentalist,  you can be really involved with your music, even choosing the instruments you would like your music to be played on. 

The costs she incurs in creating the music for everyone, cost of travel to venues, hire of venues are recouped from riders, but are nonprofit making, and could be considered her hobby. Gaynor as the inventor of the sport continues to enjoy creating the music, and gets immense pride from the performances of the riders using her music, whether they win or not.
