Hartpury Gaynor's Dancing Horses

The sell out audience saw Working Equitation, Grand Prix Dressage, Classical Dressage, RORs, Lusitano's. What a night. The videos will give you a good idea of what you will see at Hartpury.   on April 11th.

The Kelsall demo was a huge success, with a sell out audience.

Marcus (aka Elando) is a 15yo KWPN gelding. Izzie bought him as a just-backed 4yo in the UK, and he then joined Izzie in Dubai. They have worked their way up through the levels together to Medium, with many good trainers helping them along the way - Izzie has remained the only person to ride him however! Marcus has a very funny personality with lots to give and is just a lovely person to be around: he always gives his absolute all and never says no! Izzie is an airline pilot traveling the world (hence why she lived in Dubai - as an airline captain for Emirates flying the B777). She is now based back in the UK and now enjoys training pilots and working as an FlightSafety International examiner in simulators for clients from across the world. The horses are an amazing equalizer and Izzie loves having such a fabulous hobby to focus and unwind in during stressful flying and training times.

As the inventor of Dressage to Music as a competitive sport with Jennie Loriston-Clarke in 1980, Gaynor creates the music for riders to give joy and pleasure to the riders and the Demonstrations have always been in aid of charities, so over the years is proud do have donated to so many. Gaynor does not make any financial gain out of either creating the music or performing, as the sport she invented, it is something she feels should be created for beauty. 

As a multi-instrumentalist,  you can be really involved with your music, even choosing the instruments you would like your music to be played on. 

The costs she incurs in creating the music for everyone, cost of travel to venues, hire of venues are recouped from riders, but are nonprofit making, and could be considered her hobby. Gaynor as the inventor of the sport continues to enjoy creating the music, and gets immense pride from the performances of the riders using her music, whether they win or not.
