Hartpury Gaynor's Dancing Horses

The sell out audience saw Working Equitation, Grand Prix Dressage, Classical Dressage, RORs, Lusitano's. What a night. The videos will give you a good idea of what you will see at Hartpury.   on April 11th.

The Kelsall demo was a huge success, with a sell out audience.

Ellie Roberts is an Equine Veterinary Technician based in Lincolnshire, having recently graduated from her Sports Science degree. Ellie has known Gaynor for some time - her first ever freestyle to music many years ago was put together by Gaynor. After many successes with her previous horses, including representing GB in dressage at Junior and Young Rider, Ellie is now producing her wonderful horse Lyon up through the levels. Lyon is 17.1hh and is growing in confidence the more he learns. He has recently completed his first PSG and won the Winter Regionals at Medium Gold Freestyle, as well as qualifying for the Winter Championships at Advanced Medium Silver. They have also been selected for the Sport England Funded British Dressage National Academy 2025. Ellie is excited to be joining the tour at Arena UK with Lyon.

Do you want tailor made music that no one else has, music that fits your horse and transitions exactly. As the inventor of Dressage to Music as a competitive sport with Jennie Loriston-Clarke in 1980, Gaynor creates the music for riders to give joy and pleasure to the riders and the Demonstrations have always been in aid of charities, so over the years is proud do have donated to so many. Gaynor does not make any financial gain out of either creating the music or performing, as the sport she invented, it is something she feels should be created for beauty. 

As a multi-instrumentalist,  you can be really involved with your music, even choosing the instruments you would like your music to be played on. 

The costs she incurs in creating the music for everyone, cost of travel to venues, hire of venues are recouped from riders, but are nonprofit making, and could be considered her hobby. Gaynor as the inventor of the sport continues to enjoy creating the music, and gets immense pride from the performances of the riders using her music, whether they win or not.
